Scholarships

Scholarships at Invictus recognise exceptional achievement. Students may apply for a scholarship for academic abilities from Year 7. For our ‘Talent’ scholarships, candidates of all school-aged children are able to apply.  Awards generally attract fee remission of school fees of up to 100%. However, the primary aim of an award is to both recognise and support a student’s exceptional achievement.

We have very few scholarship awards and they are extremely valuable. Therefore they are always in high demand, and the process is competitive in nature. All applications are reviewed by a committee and regularly reassessed.

Academic Scholarships

These are awarded to students entering Invictus, and existing students who can consistently demonstrate the very highest academic abilities. New and existing candidates will complete a cognitive ability test (GL Assessment CAT4 test). A minimum level for this test must be achieved.  Potential and aptitude are then further examined through specific subject tests, prior academic records and interviews with senior staff. The scholarship awards are conditional and can be revoked as well as extended. These students will then need to maintain the highest levels of academic excellence, and be role models for conduct and work ethic for the other students.

For these applications, we will require a portfolio of evidence including:

- Letter of recommendation x2

- School reports

- Any academic competition certificates

- Outstanding CAT4 assessment results

Talent Scholarships

Applicants and recipients will be consistent and multiple winners of international competitions in their chosen disciplines. Evidence of this will be in the form of certificates, letters of commendations and various forms of media. Evidence will be collected over an extended period of time to present as a portfolio. We will ask the recipients of the scholarships to be available for marketing events, and have their achievements published on the school’s communication channels. First and foremost we are a school, and so the scholars’ academic achievements must also be of a high level to achieve a balance of development for the students.

For these applications, we will require a portfolio of evidence including:

- Certificates of achievement

- Letter of recommendation x2

- School reports

- Satisfactory CAT4 assessment results
